"Morani" is a Maa word for warrior. Children aged four and above - as well as anyone young at heart - will enjoy this fascinating day in the bush with a Maasai or Samburu warrior. Expect to learn the basics of bush life including safety, orienteering, tracking and how to create and use a spear as well as a bow and arrow. You'll also be taught how to find water, forage for food, spot medicinal plants, play traditional games and participate in a fun awards ceremony. This is a wonderful way to enrich your children with a greater understanding of the circle of life and ensure they feel like an integral part of our beautiful bush kingdom. For older children, there is an opportunity to spend a day in the bush with a young Maasai shepherd tending his livestock. This is a very special opportunity to get insight into the Maasai culture and learn some bushcraft.
